Two people have been killed and 12 injured in two days and three earthquakes in Rongxian, Zigong, Sichuan.

　　CCTV News:The reporter learned from the press conference of the 2.25 earthquake in Rongxian County that at 5: 38 on February 24, 2019, at 8: 40 on February 25, and at 13: 15 on February 25, an earthquake of magnitude 4.7, 4.3 and 4.9 occurred in Rongxian County, Zigong, Sichuan Province respectively. As of 17: 00 on February 25th, two people were killed and 12 injured in the three earthquakes (including three serious injuries and nine minor injuries). There were 13,260 people affected by the disaster, 9 houses collapsed and 10,911 houses were damaged, which caused cracks in the breakwater walls of five small reservoirs, such as Shuidagou Reservoir in Gaoshan Town, but did not affect the safety of the dams and reservoirs. The earthquake caused a total direct economic loss of 13.99 million yuan.

　　On the afternoon of February 24th and 25th, some people in Rongxian city questioned that the recent frequent earthquakes were related to shale gas exploitation, and gathered in the administrative center, which has been dispersed after publicity and guidance.
