Zhang Yinghui remembers the scene when the COVID-19 epidemic started in 2020.
It was on February 1, 2020, the eighth day of the first month. Zhang Yinghui had just returned home from the intense supervision task of epidemic prevention and control, and she received the news that the hospital urgently set up intensive care workers to help Hubei. She did not hesitate to play. "I am a communist party member. I used to be the head nurse of ICU and the deputy director of nursing department. At this time, I won’t fuck anyone!" The next day, she boarded a flight to Wuhan.
Zhang Yinghui was appointed as the deputy secretary of the second batch of temporary party branches in Shanxi Province to support Hubei medical team, and also served as the captain of the 100-person nursing team of the medical team. These 100 people come from different hospitals, different departments, different majors, and their ages, skills and experiences are also different. It is not easy to organize themselves to deal with complex environment and complex work in a short time. Zhang Yinghui forgot to eat and sleep, day and night, not only took the lead in fighting in the front line, but also explored the practice of circular matrix scheduling and forming sub-professional teams, thus quickly forming an efficient nursing team and providing valuable experience for fighting the epidemic.
This is not the first time that Zhang Yinghui has appeared in the front line of the epidemic. During the period of SARS in 2003, Zhang Yinghui was the first batch of medical staff in the hospital and the first department to go deep into the SARS ward.

In order to solve the problem of early enteral nutrition in critically ill patients, Zhang Yinghui explored the first blind insertion technology of three-cavity nutrition tube for mechanically ventilated patients in the province; In order to solve the problem of multidisciplinary care for patients with complex, critical and major surgery, she creatively explored the "one-hour bedside" ward round mode, which improved the success rate of patient treatment; She also explored the construction of a three-level quality control system with colleagues, and formed a daily inspection, monthly supervision and quarterly quality control management model led by daily supervision, process quality control and final evaluation to further improve the quality of nursing.
The professionalism of nursing is also reflected in every operation. Zhang Yinghui once cared for an old man with gradual freezing. The patient needed to turn over and pat his back every two hours, and he needed to pat 300 times each time. Zhang Yinghui and her colleagues always do this work on time. The patient has been in bed for 10 years without any nursing complications.

Once, an eight-year-old child was seriously damaged by a car accident, and was sent to ICU after seven operations. Zhang Yinghui led the team to customize a refined plan for him. During a ward round, she found that the child had bleeding at the inguinal wound and immediately judged that it might be a femoral artery rupture. She asked the nurse to pressurize to stop bleeding and resist shock, and contacted the operation urgently. After the rescue, the child finally turned to safety.

"To do nursing work, we must compare our hearts and change our hearts." This is a sentence that Zhang Yinghui often says. Think of yourself as a patient, as a patient’s family, and resonate with them at the same frequency.
During the period of aiding Hubei, there was an aunt Fang who was nearly seventy years old in the ward. The whole family was infected with Covid-19, but her family was not in the same hospital. Aunt Fang can’t take care of herself because of a broken bone. She relies on nursing staff to take care of her food and drink, and her mood is low. Zhang Yinghui will go to see Fang Yi if she has nothing to do. After getting familiar with her, they make friends and talk about everything. Zhang Yinghui also coordinated with the community to solve the problem that Fang Yi was left unattended after discharge. Until now, the two will often send messages to greet each other.
