VCSEL chip has the advantages of high photoelectric conversion efficiency, small divergence angle, good beam quality, good wavelength stability, high reliability, low threshold current, low power consumption, small size and easy integration, and the cost of mass production can be controlled, so it is the best choice for vehicle-mounted hybrid solid-state laser radar and FLASH laser radar. VCSEL chip helps the vehicle-mounted hybrid solid-state laser radar to achieve longer detection distance, higher sensing accuracy and meet a series of stringent requirements such as human eye safety. It can also help FLASH lidar to achieve a more flexible and wide field of view, and it has a great cost advantage.
Because the manufacturing process of VCSEL chips is demanding and the mass production is difficult, most VCSEL chips on the market are monopolized by international manufacturers. However, in recent years, domestic VCSEL chips are rising with a rapid momentum, and "Ruishi Technology" is such an enterprise that can meet the demand of "looking for domestic substitute products".
