A few days ago, Li Yingbo, vice president of the School of Basic Medicine of Chongqing Medical University, and his party once again came to Denver Children’s Rehabilitation Training Center in Yuzhong District. In the training room, volunteers from the school are assisting several special children to complete passing and jumping.
This is the eighth year that Li Yingbo has been engaged in autism research. In addition to teaching and research, Li Yingbo and his team members also actively participate in various public welfare activities such as rehabilitation training, consulting services, online counseling, community lectures, and on-site interaction. To his delight, the Neuroscience Research Center of Basic Medical College has attracted more and more teachers and students to join his team through the construction of transformational organization.
Chongqing Medical University is a pilot university in Chongqing to build a "Red Rock Pioneer" transformational organization in the new era. The Party Committee of the school explores the breakthrough of the traditional functional organizational structure of compartmentalization and vertical management, and promotes the model innovation of "one party is subordinate to one party and multiple management" in party member by creating a mixed organizational form that integrates various types.
In April this year, the basic medical college of our school co-ordinated a number of teaching and research departments engaged in neuroscience research, such as anatomy, physiology and pathogens, fully mobilized teaching and research staff and students, and established an innovative party organization of the neuroscience research center of the basic medical college. Innovative Party organizations integrate experts and scholars in related fields, and concentrate their efforts on scientific research around severe brain diseases such as cerebrovascular disease, Alzheimer’s disease and depression. Such cross-disciplinary collaborative research has achieved tangible results.
Zhao Mingming, a professor in the Department of Histology and Embryology of Basic Medical College, said that the innovative party organization integrated the disciplinary perspective, promoted interdisciplinary research, and promoted cross-cooperation among many research groups. "I learned about the autism research team for the first time at the organization life meeting.
